Celebrity journalism has a trust problem, and we’d rather earn ours slowly than lose it fast. This page sets out how we report, source, and correct our stories.
Accuracy first
We verify claims wherever possible before publishing, using named sources, official statements, representative confirmations, court and public records, and reporting from established outlets. Where a story is based on unverified claims, we say so explicitly in the article rather than presenting speculation as fact.
Sourcing standards
- We attribute information to its original source and link out to it where appropriate.
- Anonymous or unverified sources are used sparingly and only when the information is in the public interest and reasonably corroborated.
- We do not knowingly publish fabricated quotes or manipulated images.
- AI tools may assist with research or drafting support on some articles, but all published content is reviewed and edited by a human editor before it goes live.
Corrections & updates
When we get something wrong, we fix it. Factual corrections are made as soon as they’re verified, and materially changed articles carry a visible note explaining what was updated and when. You can request a correction via our Contact page.
Editorial independence
Advertising and commercial partnerships never influence what we choose to cover or how we cover it. Any sponsored or paid content is clearly labelled as such — see our Disclaimer. Our news and opinion coverage is kept separate from commercial arrangements.
Privacy & sensitivity
We aim to report on public figures’ professional and public lives without needlessly intruding into matters that carry no genuine public interest, particularly involving children, health, grief, or personal safety. We do not publish unverified images sourced from harassment, stalking, or hacking.
Celeb Time Magazine aims to follow the spirit of the UK Editors’ Code of Practice as maintained by IPSO, even where we are not yet a member, as a benchmark for responsible entertainment journalism.
Complaints
If you believe an article breaches these standards, email admin@celebtimemagazine.co.uk with the article link and details of your concern. We review every complaint and respond directly.
